Natalie has lived in the Bay Area all of her life. She has been a long time student and practitioner of spiritual traditions, and has a deep commitment to the importance of living, and working Holistically. She understands the importance of balance, and helping people to embody healthy development towards expanded aliveness and choices in life. She obtained her Bachelors in Cultural Studies from University of California, Santa Cruz, and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology while concurrently training in the Bodynamic System. As a Certified Massage Practitioner and Bodynamic Practitioner, she spent her undergraduate years as a somatic practitioner before getting licensed as a psychotherapist. In her intern years, and early agency work as a psychotherapist, she spent 10 years working with diverse populations, gang involved youth, dual diagnosis clients, crisis managment, clients with chronic PTSD, and clients with multiple risk factors, and more complex diagnoses. As a clinical program manager, she was responsible for many mental health programs, and training interns. She has developed an expertise in combining the understanding of traditional psychotherapy systems and Holistic Approaches.

Experience and Credentials:

While her psychotherapy practice in Aptos and Bodynamic work are her primary focus these days, Natalie continues to maintain her commitment to making sure all people have access to Holistic psychotherapy by providing training and workshops with the Bodynamic Institutes both Internationally and in the US; by teaching at JFK; by supervising MFT interns for JFK's counseling center; and by contracting with non-profit agencies and the County Services. Natalie currently also works as a consultant to Community Connections Agency, Santa Cruz County Mental Health & Substance Abuse & Social Services, providing assessments, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and therapy.
