Bodynamic Institute USA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to developing quality training resources to assist psychotherapy professionals and other individuals achieve an understanding of Bodynamic Analysis.

There are three levels of training offered by the Bodynamic Institute:
Precision, Presence, and Change (Foundation level) , Practitioner Training and Bodynamic Analyst Training

      The Practitioner Training is the second level of training and is designed primarily for professionals with clients, such as: Psychotherapists, Psychologists, MFT's, LCSW's, Nurses, Doctors, massage therapists, physical therapists, bodyworkers, and others. An interview is required before an applicant can be accepted by the Institute for enrollment into this advanced program. This advanced training is provided in eight (8) residential segments of eight or nine days each over approximately two and a half (2 1/2) years. Completion of Practitioner Training is a prerequisite for acceptance into the Bodynamic Analyst Training. A Practitioner level certificate of completion is awarded upon sucessful completion of this second level of training.

      Certification by the Bodynamic Institute as a Certified Bodynamic Practitioner is awarded after completion of all segments and requirements established by the Institute.

  • The Bodynamic Analyst Training is the third and highest level of Bodynamic training. It is designed primarily for mental health professionals who are licensed to practice psychotherapy in their State or Country. An interview process must first be completed so that the Institute can determine whether an applicant (a certified Practitioner) is qualified for acceptance into Bodynamic Analyst Training. This final level of training focuses on regressive techniques such as shock and trauma reworking, Bodymapping skills, and early reflex integration, including intrauterine and birth trauma repairative techniques.
    • The Analyst Training is provided in the same format as Practitioner Training, Certification by the Bodynamic Institute as a Bodynamic Analyst is awarded after completion of all segments and requirements established by the Institute.

    Workshops and Seminars: In addition to our major training programs, Bodynamic Trainers periodically offer one or two day workshops, typically on weekends, that are designed to provide either an overview introduction to the basic elements of Bodynamics or a specialized topic of interest to more advanced practitioners. Please check our Calendar web page for listings of these periodic Bodynamic workshops.


    Continuing Education (CE) credits: Bodynamic Institute USA has been approved by the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences to offer continuing education for MFCC (new title will be "MFT") and LCSW licensure requirements in California. Our Provider Approval Number is PCE 1461. Our approval issue date is May 5, 1999. The 14 days of training offered by our (Phase One) Foundation Training easily provide the 36 hours of CE credits under the new requirements (see below) for MFCC or LCSW licensure renewals in California.
    California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) CE REQUIREMENT:
    MFCC's and LCSW's are required to complete 36 continuing education (CE) hours for license renewals after January 1, 1999. CE must be completed within the preceding two years of the license renewal date. CE taken before January 1, 1997, will not be counted toward the requirement.
