Page 2 Bodynamic Analysis uses the Bodymap similarly to how the Rorschach test is used in clinical psychology and psychiatry. A pilot-study indicates that both tests can be used to provide compatible information. The two tests appear to supplement each other, since a Bodymap gives more precise and detailed information than the Rorschach about the development of the client, and from which age levels his/her problems arise. The Rorschach on the other hand gives a more detailed description of the processes of consciousness and the associative connections of the client.
for preparation of a Bodynamic Analytic therapy process (test reading, prognosis and treatment plan).
Interpretation of the Bodymap consists of a systematic evaluation of the personality and ego functions of the client, a prognosis based on these, and an articulated treatment plan. The interpretation is based on a systematic analysis of the client's patterns of muscle responses based on Bodynamic Analytic theory, and supplemented by the therapist's accumulated experience concerning the test, the client, and contact with the client.
